Fancy text β for Instagram, LinkedIn & bios
Type any text and this tool converts each letter into a matching Unicode symbol that looks bold, italic, monospace or struck through. Unicode is the universal standard that gives every character on the internet a unique code β not just A to Z, but tens of thousands of symbols, emoji and alphabets. Among them are special "mathematical" letter sets that happen to look like bold or italic versions of normal letters. When you copy them you are copying real characters, not formatting, which is why they travel anywhere.
Normal formatting like bold or italics relies on hidden HTML or rich-text codes behind the scenes. Platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X and WhatsApp strip that formatting out of bios, captions and posts to keep everything consistent and secure, so there is no built-in bold button. This generator gets around that limitation by giving you characters that are already shaped like bold or italic letters, so they survive the copy-and-paste and display correctly.
Each style button rebuilds from your original words, so you can switch freely without garbling the text. A few older phones may show some styles as plain characters, so preview before publishing. Because these are standard Unicode symbols, screen readers may pronounce them differently, so use them for emphasis rather than whole paragraphs.
